Field notes / How we work
What we actually check in a 60-minute free audit

Short answer
A free audit is a 60-minute working session plus a written diagnosis on your brand, content, paid media and how you stack up against competitors — ending with clear next steps you can take to any agency, even if you never hire us. We give it away because the fastest way to earn trust is to be useful first.
"Free audit" is one of the most abused phrases in marketing — usually a thin excuse for a sales call. Ours is not that. It is an actual working hour plus a written document, and the goal is for you to leave smarter about your own business whether or not we ever work together.
The four things we look at
- Brand — is the positioning clear, and does a stranger understand in five seconds what you do and for whom?
- Content — what you are publishing, whether it earns attention (retention, saves) and whether it answers the questions buyers actually have.
- Paid media — where the money goes, whether campaigns are measured on real outcomes (bookings, leads) or on cheap clicks, and where budget leaks.
- Competition — how you stack up against the businesses a customer compares you with, and the gaps you can close fastest.
What you walk away with
A written diagnosis and a short list of clear next steps, prioritised — the things worth doing first, in what order. It is yours to keep. You can hand it to your own team, to another agency, or to your nephew who "does marketing". No lock-in, no strings.
„The fastest way to earn someone's trust is to be useful before you are paid."
Why give away an hour and a document for free? Because it is the most honest sample of how we work. If the audit is genuinely useful, you already know what a paid engagement would feel like. And if it turns out you do not need us, we would rather you find that out for free than sign and regret it. You can start one anytime — it really is 60 minutes and a written report, no pitch.
